I am not 100% sold on the idea of getting one, but man are they gorgeous! I have kept the idea in the back of my mind, and would consider having one some day, was just curious what they are like, temperment, ease of care, etc? I am a colubrid girl, love my corns...but think a BRB would be a small enough (yet big enough) snake for me to mangage?
 
BRB's are amazing!!! Highly curious and active. I have two and neither has a mean bone in their body. BRB's are the perfect size IMO. They usually range 5-6 feet with females growing more towards the longer end (although some have reached 7 ft).

Here is how I set up my baby BRB Hellraiser's enclosure. She has perfect sheds every time and is thriving! A good example for a baby.

I would recommend getting a PVC cage for adults. Your life will be much easier.

A (non-breeding) male usually is around1500g and female 1800g, bigger than a corn but still on the light scale.

Here is a video of me handling Anck Su Namun who is 1,440 grams.

As you can see she is very active, but not flighty nor so strong she is unmanageable. Yeah my eyes are going everywhere lol. BRB's can go from chilling to wanting to go off on adventures. There's never a dull moment with them. Plus, IMO they are one of the most (if not the most) gorgeous snake out there, especially if you get a high red or high orange.

My set-up for Anck Su Namun is
1) Boaphile cage (48x24x11 in)
2) Damp paper towls
3) Big water bowl that is over a heat source
4) Humid box
5) Hot side is 82-83 degrees and cool is 75 (both F)

Oh and two amazing breeders are Dave Colling at Rainbows-R-Us (I got Hellraiser from) and Cliff Earle at Living Gem Reptiles. I haven't purchased from Cliff but he is part of a BRB Facebook group and he is not only very knowledgeable, but cares. I also know some people who have purchased from him and were very happy. Dave is having TONS of litters this year, there should be quite the selection.
 
Although they are much more aware than corns. When you reach into their cage, they are watching you! Neither has struck at me. The secret is, not to grab head first and to grab firmly and deliberately, no hesitation. It is also good to hold them on a regular basis, they calm down pretty quick. It wouldn't be a bad idea to get a sub-adult as your first, babies need more humidity than adults, thus the older the BRB is, the more tolerable they are of lower humidity levels.

Oh and BRB's do like to soak themselves, so give them a big water bowl. Some even give them a waterfall too. And babies generally love to climb (adults will too thought). If get a youngin' I would give it so room to play, they are very active snakes ^^
 
I definitely like ours, although we haven't had the adults long enough for me to feel that I really "know" them, haven't really bonded with them yet. Zoë, the baby, absolutely loves to swim!

We are on the wait list for a little male from Living Gems and Cliff has been great at updating everyone on the litters and how they are coming.
