Morgellons....real?

rich333

They Are Coming!!!
.... Or are the people who claim to be inflicted delusional?

What is Morgellons? Alien or Governmental? Or a little of both?

Nano tech? Transhumanation? What is it turning us into?

Thoughts?

Occam's razor cuts this into shreds - it's far more likely to be the skin condition exacerbated by delusional parasitosis the medical community says it is than the "transhuman" conspiracy websites claim. I tend to view stuff like this a product of many factors of current American culture:

1) the fear culture rampant in the US
2) poor understanding of science, technology, and medicine
3) a human need to feel important/special
4) distrust of authority

These factors combine with stress (like that caused by a sick loved one) to establish fertile ground for all manner of imaginative/conspiratorial ideas. I looked at a bunch of the alleged "devices" and I have a hard time seeing anything that unusual - everything looks odd at 60-500x magnifications. Human perception can do funny things - everybody remember the "face" on Mars that was nothing more than a crater?

I was just talking about this with my brother. He thinks it's a form of cancer...I'm not so sure what it is. Strange that it happens though, I feel sorry for anyone suffering with it.

Thanks For your Input. You covered that Nicely!

I'm Not sure what it is either....Hence the thread....Wanted to hear some opinions...thoughts... etc.

Has it been confirmed to be non-organic growth? I've been digging around for the past few hours and haven't gotten any confirmation other than cellulose fibers. Hmm...so strange

Yeah...I dunno.

But like any thing else....there's ALWAYS two sides to every coin.

With every lie there is a bit of truth that spawned it.

Very true. I wonder if the fibers have been tested for their transmission capabilities? I mean, if they are close to fiber optics in ability to transmit that would be scary as heck.

I sent some time digging around after the original post, and I couldn't find any explanation of why they thought these things were wires/communication devices/autonomous alien nanospiders. What I can say from a lot of years of studying biology is that organisms can react in all manner of strange ways when exposed to odd substances, and it's for darn sure there is a huge amount of weird chemicals/materials in our environment these days. Who knows how individuals might react? If one dude can ferment carbs to ethanol in his belly, who knows what random industrial contaminants might do...

Not Sure....But There is a claim that the fibers Can not be Burnt?
