Definitely a regurge. How long ago was the feeding? Don't feed the next planned meal. It should be a total of about 8-10 days from the regurge to the next meal. Feed 1/3 of a pink. If that goes okay, feed 1/2 a pink. If that goes okay, feed 1/2 a pink. If that goes okay, feed the 2/3, cut into two pieces. The next meal, feed a whole pink, cut in two pieces. I'd feed either pinks cut in half, or heavily slit, from now on. I'd feed at an interval of five days.

Obtain Nutribac. Kathy Love sells it, www.cornutopia.com Put that on all pinks/meals for the next three months, at least.

Do not feed in blue if you can detect it.

Make sure your heat is at least 85F. You could even go up to 88F if you have a large enough gradient- room to get away and be cooler.

Try to figure out why he regurged. Blue? Handled too soon during the digestion process (within 2-3 days of feeding)? Prey too large?

Ok Nanci, I'm in a panic state.

He ate around noon today (11-20), he ate faster than usual, I mean one swallow and it was gone.

I let him be after he ate, the regurge happened about 6 hours after he ate, or I should say its when I noticed it.

Don't panic yet. (The time to get worried is if he regurges the next meal. The time to panic is if he regurges a third time). What is his history- did he come from a pet store? A breeder? How old is he? Do you know how many meals he had before you got him? (Trying to establish that he was a good feeder with no problems when you got him).

I got him from a Mom and Pop Store, they said ,"hes about 3-4 months old" They also said he was a good eater, I did ask that. I don't know how many meals he had or if he has shed yet.

Okay, so unless they are lying, he shouldn't have any congenital problems causing poor digestion.

I ordered Nutribac from Kathy Love last night, I have my heat up in Crescents tank set around 86 (Heat Pad). His humidity is right about 45%. He is out but coiled up and he hasn't moved all day, but I am leaving him be but I have a very close eye on him.

I'm sorry but I have another question on this topic, I will state that I have followed Nanci's and Kathy Loves direction to the letter so far on The Regurge Protocol. I have ordered Nutri Bac from Kathy a week ago but still hasn't arrived yet.

My question is this, It is stated that after a Regurge the sakes stomach acids are depleted, will the stomach acids eventually replenish?

Yes. Did you get a confirmation from Kathy? If you don't have it tomorrow, I can throw some in a ziplock and mail it to you.

I got a confirmation that it shipped on the 21st, Ill give it another day or two then ill send her an email.

Hello, I have reframed from posting too many questions but I must ask this, Crescent last eat on Nov 20, he regurged on the 21st. I have stuck with the regurge protocol very closely as recommended and advised here. His temps are near perfect, he has not been fed or handled at all. I am still waiting for the Nutri Bac from Kathy (been 11 days since I ordered it) so I have not fed him yet.

I am worried that he has gone so long without eating because hes a baby.

I will go out today and try to find some Nutri Bac at the store. If I can NOT locate some Nutri Bac at the store, should I feed him anyway or continue to wait?

When Henry regurged I couldn't get a hold of any nutribac. I fed him a red pinkie and he did fine. Just be sure to leave him totally alone while he's digesting and he should be fine.
