Some ugly striped gray thing from Steve Roylance

HerpsOfNM

My name's Blurryface...
As the titled says, some ugly striped gray thing from Mr. Roylance. I've been waiting for him to shed (3 days ago), then between work, a little bit of life happening, and the fact that there's about 6 inches of snow here with me saying forget swapping out my failing alternator, I figured I'd finally take the time to get a shot of him (awesome run-on sentence :crazy01: ). He turns 1 year in 35 days and loves him some fuzzies. I just hope he's not programmed to breed in the winter when the time comes since Mr. Roylance has all his snakes cornfused and popping out 3500+ eggs right now even though he lives in the Northern Hemisphere. (the horse...it twitched) :D

And then, I can't do a new critter photo shoot without tormenting others. So, here are 4 pics of 2 other Roylance critters that I got earlier this fall.

Lastly, a snake that is a PIMA when it comes to getting photos of her. She an ABSOLUTE sweetheart, but loathes holding still. Her boyfriend is the "ugly striped gray thing". He's also the boyfriend to...the magma and lava in this thread (Some new corn worms)

Eeewww, those are all ugly. You sure don't want to put them in a breeding program. You can just send them all to me :D

Thanks everyone.

I can't really pick a favorite out of the 4.

From there, I can't really pick a favorite out of the other corns I have.

Breeding wise, out of all of the 4 pictured here, I think the pewter excites me the most. Her boyfriend will be Thor, my caramel tessera, het albino stripe.

I agree, definitely ulgy, most likely over priced also :poke:

Kidding, they are gorgeous! I have yet to see any Roylance snakes that truly are ugly though...I'm sure there's someone that doesn't agree though :p

On a complete side note I will trade your 6 inches of snow for our 2-1/2 ft of it and -34C (which converts to -29.2F )!

Yeah. That ghost stripe looks sick.
I think Colorado would be good for it. I'll send you a self addressed box and shipping label.

Wow Chris,
I can't believe you would pay money for those Steve Roylance, over priced, ulgy snakes :grin01:

I was wondering where that Striped Ghost went. I emailed Steve about that snake not long after he posted it only to find out I was a little to late :headbang:
Seriously beautiful snakes !!!

BTW, nice photography !!!

Gotta remember, it's only the ERO that are overpriced. :flames:

I did -31°F once down here a few years ago, freak arctic blast. I was driving into work at around 3:30am and truck drove perfectly fine. When I went to leave at 2pm I came out to my truck with a liquid buttery clutch pedal and a master cylinder that wouldn't hold fluid. :angry01: :blowhead:

I do love the snow though. I find the eerie silence it creates quite peaceful (however contradictory that sentence is).

Oh my goodness... that ghost stripe! I've never seen anything like it!

The pic Steve had on the "other" classifieds site didn't even lead me to think he'd look anything like this. I know young corns are typically the most vibrant, but I have a feeling his coloration isn't going anywhere but up as an adult.

I know, right?! Steve's horrible and no one should ever buy snakes from him except me and 5 Star since we're so understanding of his ugly, overpriced snakes. :crazy02:

I forget why I contacted him. I do recall it was kind of random. I want to say it was due to wanting to finish pairing some critters up. And, now that I think about it, he's destine for a albino tessera I found locally. SUPPOSEDLY this albino tessera is from RO lines (she looks it, I need to get better photos of her) and is het ghost. So I figured a ghost stripe (since all my tessera stuff has stripe in it) would be a good pairing. Both snakes are gorgeous, so rightfully so the babies will be butt ugly. :shrugs: :D

Thank you though! I don't honestly comment much on yours or Chip's photos, but you 2 produce some nice critters too. Had my wife not handcuffed purchasing anymore critters for the year (and rightfully so) I'd probably snagged a few from you and him. Same goes for Tom; I love some of his topaz stuff.

Beautiful collection! I love the ghost stripe!

Thank you. It's crazy. I started the year with 4 corns and now I'm at way too many and not enough. :spinner:
