Life with Crescent

My lil boy Crescent is almost at 8.0 g, he's actually at 7.9, Its slow but again is a consistent gain so I'm happy and he's eating very well, I still have him on pinkies but no regurge.

His pictures are untouched and washed from the flash but his color has gone away significantly since I have gotten him.

Considering what I learned with "Diablo" my Python which was patience, I can only assume that Crescent is finally going into shed soon. He doesn't look it because with his color its hard to tell but he's holding all the temperament characteristics. He has become very cranky, would not eat and he took it apon himself to enter his humidity box and hes been there since yesterday morning, now I will be the patient dad and snake owner and just wait.

Hey, hey- I woke to a brand new Crescent, he finally shed and he did a great job, all one piece. He looks beautiful, I tried to get pictures but I couldn't get good ones he is so wound up. I also cant get him to eat, ill again later to feed him.

Crescent has not eaten since January 6th, he wont even look at it, in fact he kinda runs from it like he's afraid of it. He shed on January 12. I'm not to, to concerned yet.

I missed the update! Don't offer every day...I'd go a minimum of three or four days between refusals.

After a shed, I'd do the night of the shed, and if he didn't take, then the following night, and if he didn't take, then the next scheduled feeding.

Wow, It took all the enticing in the world but Crescent finally eat today. He hasn't eaten since Jan 6. He wasn't interested at first, but he then got a bit more curious and curious, I then used a tactic I saw on Snake Bytes TV, tease him a little, touch the food to his nose then pull it a way a few inches, and repeat, after a few times of that I really had his interest and he finally grabbed it.

I make mine chase it, too, but just for fun.

Glad to hear Crescent is eating!
