I had an offer on one of my boys, for a lot less than I was asking, in exchange for future babies. Since I never have traded before, it made me a little nervous.

I wanted to look at the BOI and the two threads I did find were very, very bad. I read through them both. I decided to look at the Facebook, and all the pictures of baby corns showed very wet, dirty conditions, green water or no water in the bowls.

Needless to say, I'm not comfortable at risking my Baby's life and health for a few bucks. How would you politely tell a person you don't want to sell to them??

I would do this. I foster cats/kittens and at first it was hard saying no....now I could care less. I want what's best for them.

That's pretty much what I was thinking, but not sure how to respond if the individual wants to buy outright. I mean, I understand that any of the babies I sell can end up in bad situations, but if I can prevent it, then I will. I am guessing I have the right to refuse sale at any time, no reasons needed?

Agreed. Thanks but no thanks, not worth risking the health/life of one of your babies. Not to mention, (especially since the BOI threads were baaaaad), how could you guarantee you would get him back in the EXACT condition you sent him off in?

Bleh...didn't see this was an offer for a trade...but still. If HIS babies are in that bad of shape, yeah...I still wouldn't risk it.

Oh no, I would be happy to send him to a few members here for loan though
And yes exactly about the condition of the babies, I also think that this individual does not quarantine, as they claim/Ed to be a rescue. But all the animals they were selling on the one BOI were very ill. Seems to be a flipper, taking in sick and unwanted animals to turn for a profit without resolving any issues first.

I am not in the breeding hobby, so I could be way off. I can only imagine what I might say in your situation. But, you have the right to refuse selling any of your snakes to anyone you choose.
If it were me, I would be completely honest. If I was really unhappy about the situation they'd be going to, I would straight up tell that person. Explain, as politely as possible, that those living conditions are not ideal and until they are up to the generally acceptable level of the herp community, you will not be selling anything to that person.
I'd follow up with either a few necessary tips on husbandry, or links to resources and information.

They can do with that what they will. Whether they get offended or take the advice is up to them.

Haha it's funny you say that because the second BOI post is exactly that, someone had inquired about some animals, got pictures of them looking very sick and unkept and they mentioned this to the seller and they were ticked! I will just be saying something along the lines of thanks but no!

As others, have said, I would say, "No thanks, not interested." I would also explain why - negative BOI posts, and photos of appalling husbandry. I would politely make it crystal clear that the welfare of my animals is my first priority, and I would gladly lose a sale to wait for a more suitable buyer. If they get pissed, too bad. The animals' welfare come first, and we reserve the right to refuse a sale to anyone.

No.No. No.
I personally would simply say "No thank you, not interested."
It does not sound like any explaination, or in depth conversation would be anything but a waste of time.

I admire that you would rather lose a customer rather than selling a snake to someone who is obviously not prepared to take proper care of the animal! As for your dilemma on how you politely say 'no,' I'd just tell them that you don't feel comfortable selling to them, or just promptly say 'not interested.' It's your snake and you posses the right to refuse them, no explanation required!

I did just say "thanks for the offer, but I can't" and they seemed okay with that.
I looked through more albums on the Facebook and was just appalled at the conditions of some of the animals. I would hate to see any of my critters end up like that.
