New Brooks King

Wow, what a full belly and a few days make, I took Domino out just now, only for a 5 minutes (baby steps) and she was wonderful, very curious and she did hiss once but she was very ,very calm and doscile. I was more nervous than she was.

I think I need to ship her to Nanci for Jake to take advantage of her.

That's awesome ! I love it, but I know they all say that's snakes don't love, yeh its true but I swear my Rosy Boa loves me and I know its not personal, but my Brooksie wants to eat me. LOL

I have this bad habit of wanting animals that don't particularly want you. Or at least have a bad habit of showing they want you around. Like cats.
 
I the think it was more "I love that you feed me and make my tummy warm." Colubra is a very expressive snake lmao.

A little late. But what a beautiful snake. I've been wanting a Brooks myself for a while. I started out with corn snakes, but really quickly became obsessed with kings.
At the moment I only have Cali. kings, though.

Id love to hear about your Kings. I have had Corns, Boas and Pythons and got a Brooks on a whim, I admit she intimidates me but we are working on a mutual understanding...LOL

Really? Your kitties don't want to be around you? I have a 16lb white furry meatloaf on my chest right now, I have my laptop on my legs and can't see the keyboard. I have another on my head (I am laying on my bed and was watching the Olympics before I grabbed the laptop) who keeps bopping me with her paw as to say "I am here too!". And another 4 who keep jumping on the bed and rotating around my legs competing for the best spots. You can borrow mine, they love us unconditionally!

If you read the headlines tomorrow and it says "woman suffocated by white wooly mammoth", you will know that's me!!!
