Old Videos- Old Hobby

Wow, Steve!

I've known you for a long time, but never knew you were into that! You would have to have an AMAZING sense of balance to do those maneuvers. Great videos!

Haha, yeah sometimes I forget I did this for years! I practiced about 10 hours a day, sometimes more. We actually had a part time job doing shows for parties and things. It paid very well. Sometimes I miss it.
Thank you!

Wow!

I would have broken every bone in my body trying to do something like that.

Pretty impressive!

LOL! Thanks Rich! I did break my ankle one time. I was doing a trick where you ride the bike backwards standing on the handlebars, not holding on to anything just standing, and a kid was behind me who didn't see me either and BAM! Landed wrong :(

Damn Steve, you got da skills dude !!
You ever think about trying it again??? Ya know what they say, it's like riding a bike.....:poke:......yes pun intended........LOL

I actually still have a bike, and every great once in a while ride it lol! I've been outta practice so long I'd kill myself trying some of those moves now. I can still do some of them but not like when I was younger.

Damn dude that was mad skills. I use to ride BMX way back in the day, in fact I had my PK Ripper until about 7 years ago...lol. I could not do 3/4 of that stuff though and the 1/4 I maybe could of back in the day was no where near your level. I got out of it for a safer sport. Drag Racing, which i still do..lol. I also replaced the PK Ripper with a Harley too old fat and lazy to pedal now...lol

Thanks Johnny!

I remember PK Rippers. I always rode a GT. Probably 20 different ones, no exaggeration. We were also Co-sponsored by GT/Dyno for a little while and got discounts on everything! It was a nice perk :)

That's really cool! You obviously put a lot of work in it and were really dedicated to being the best you could be. Sounds a lot like how you approach corn snakes!

Thanks! When I love to do something I L..O..V..E to do it! Almost at an addicts level LOL!!

You had some serious skills and talent.. and balls (pardon the french). One wrong step, and you could probably break your neck. Especially without a helmet. But you're able to make the bike look as if it rides on it's own, disregarding logical physics and balance. That takes super muscle-memory and mental coordination.

Thanks Michael! Yeah you had to have really good balance and lots and lots of coordination and timing. I did have some pretty good falls here and there but nothing to serious. It was mainly when we were learning new tricks and didn't quite have it down perfect yet.
