Favorite Current TV Shows!

Yay for Mark & Bopper and The Afghanimals! Would have liked to see Gary & Mallory back for a 3rd shot at it or Brooke & Claire.

NO! The Afghanimals are back??? They drove me nuts! I loved their enthusiasm at first last season, they they got to be just annoying! We have it recorded, we will watch it Thurs after Survivor. That is our only night off together, so we do dinner and recorded shows.

I love Mark and Bopper, that is good that they are back, but I am so bad at names that I can't remember the teams I liked.

Big Bang Theory has grown on me. It's cast is great, and the humor is really clever and entertaining.

Walking Dead is also getting better, finally. The last couple of seasons with Governer...I almost couldn't keep doing that to myself every Sunday. But it seems back on track again.

That's about all I watch on TV. My film diet consists of about 85% Documentaries, which I watch before bed.

I learned today that the last half season of Breaking Bad is now on Netflix. I know what I'm doing this weekend!!!

I bailed on Walking Dead at the season break. Glad to hear it's getting better, I really liked the first episode so much I stuck with it through what I felt it was a weak story line.

Breaking Bad was excellent. Ending seemed a little flawed to me, but much better than most shows out there.

What got me into The Walking Dead was the survival aspect of the show--who you would and wouldn't be able to trust, and what resources you could use to stay alive.

After a while, it seemed to get a bit too big for it's britches. I had trouble finding the wholesome story of survival and unity that it started with.

loved Breaking Bad, though. I got into it really late, but I became hooked. The acting was so incredible for a TV show, it blew my mind. The relationship between Walt and his family grabs you, and the storyline keeps you guessing.

I won't spoil the ending. My brother loved how it turned out. I felt differently. Maybe there was just no 'good' way to end it.

I actually liked the ending of Breaking Bad. It really tied up some loose ends (although maybe not the way you wanted them to be) and left you with a little bit of wonder on what happened afterwards.

So glad it won Best Show. And Bryan Cranston KNEW he had the "role of a lifetime" he said in one interview.

Nanci, I am SO jealous! I would love to go back and not know what happens and watch it again. Maybe I can get temporary/selective amnesia???

I thought the ending was a little too tidy, without spoiling anything.

^ Chip, don't tempt me. Lol. We are in complete agreement, and I'm trying hard not to get how I feel out there, as not to play spoiler.

All I'll say.. I appreciate that they didn't drag it on, just to do so. But I think they could have used another few episodes. I was sort of in awe when it ended. So many characters that I'd come to known, and I wanted to have resolution for them all.

Sadly, it just ends that way. And that's probably a better metaphor for life to end with. But I was left wanting so much more. I weep on Sunday nights now.

Survivor started last night. Beauty vs Brains vs Brawn. It was good! Brains- they are in trouble!!! There are some good players this season. I like not having the same-old same-old all starts.

But I _did_ like the all stars on Amazing Race!

Dancing With The Stars starts tonight!!

Rich and I have watched two eps of Resurrection- it's good!!

I finished Breaking Bad :-( I've got two seasons left of Dexter, I think.

There's a British series (Only two short seasons so far, 7 eps total) called The Bletchley Circle that is excellent. Heartily recommended. It takes place 10 years after WW2 and follows four women who worked at Bletchley Park, the UK facility where German codes were broken.

I thought it was a decent ending. It's a bit open-ended, so we may see some characters back in Better Call Saul.

Yup, that's what I thought too! But I think the Saul series is a prequel to Breaking Bad. But that would bring back Mike, maybe Gus, and who knows who else who needed his "services" before Walter White.

Snizzy, I love The Blacklist. I love James Spader, this is the perfect character for him. Our entire DVR got erased (don't get me started on Prism) and I lost the last two episodes of this and several other shows, but thankfully for On Demand I can still watch them. One that I couldn't get was The Amazing Race. Boo.

I gave up on The Walking Dead. I've owned all the graphic novels for years and the show simply can't compare. Right now I'm watching The Following, Archer, Grimm, Castle, and sometimes Rake for non-reality shows. Reality shows are Ink Master, Face Off, and Hell's Kitchen.

I really didn't care much for Breaking Bad. I felt it got a bit predictable and old. Did anyone happen to watch the "alternate" ending they filmed though? :p I can link it if folks are interested, with a spoiler warning.

You can watch Amazing Race on line. On CBS or whatever it's on.

Wes, I would like to watch the alternate ending!
