Piles of Beautiful Pinstripe Miami Motleys!!

Presenting Stealth Baby G! This egg hadn't pipped, I _thought_, but when Rich and I got home from breakfast there was a baby, so I squeezed the egg I thought it came from, and the egg was still occupied! So probably one more, and then that's it. A couple eggs I thought were going to make it are declaring themselves bad quickly now. Well- one _might_ hatch, but it's dented and hard. I don't know.

Baby G has the best silver coloration of all so far, and what I call a "broken" pinstripe pattern. And is surprisingly nice! This clutch has a few vipers...

While the solid strip is pretty, I like broken patterns too. My definite holdback Miami Tessera has a broken pattern, which I love!

This "line" whose grandam is Carol's amazing super-pinstripe seems to have a very strong tendency for pinstripe. I have never seen a typical, motley motley. This year there are more unbroken or barely-broken stripes than last year. It's hard to pick a favorite! Maybe D. I'm glad I have a keeper from last year and don't have to choose.

Last but not least, Baby H, short for Hippo! 10.1 grams! These babies have mostly come out swinging, and this one is no exception. Out of the egg, ready to go! S/He was actually calm once I got him out of the egg container, so I got lots of pics of "him."

Nancy, if those peppermint stripes didn't put a stripe on my wish list for my next snake, these guys sure did.

See??? But do a search on here for Twizzler and Squirrel- for more striped beauty!

Now these babies are motley/motley, no stripe gene involved, but they have the "pinstripe" motley pattern. Which is why I love them- because I love stripes!

And because they're Miami. My favorite morph. :)

Well, they have all popped female on the first round. This is not good! So- I'll recheck them after shed.

Nice babies! I was comparing them to Heather's Miami tessera clutch, and you can already tell these are going to have that silvery color taking over even the "red" parts of their pattern, in contrast to the tesseras that have the sharp contrast in their colors. If I were trying to choose one or the other between the 2 looks, I'd have a really hard time...

That's easy....get one of each ;)

I love the broken stripe, they look more to the motley pattern and I am really considering a stripe as a mate for gracie. I want one that will give any babies she has some new looks, but will not lose all the okeetee look. Thats why i thought the peppermint stripe would work out the best. Same color but that nice stripe pattern, what do you think..

I think your best bet would be an Okeetee Tessera! Then you'll get half tesseras, which are striped, and half gorgeous okeetees.
