Basically anything that crawls and isn't a dog. He is even afraid of my leopard gecko although he did help disentangle a wild blue-tailed skink from my hair when we visited my family in GA. He managed not to scream.

When I made him go to a reptile show there was a woman holding an albino retic that was probably 12 feet long, and he had to walk right by her since it was cramped and people were behind him. He said he almost died of fear!

As for the deceased snakes, it has been several weeks and I did not notify them in a timely fashion (I did contact them when the first snake died and received no response but should probably have contacted them by phone) and I have buried the animals when I should have instead taken them for a necropsy. Under these circumstances they would probably be justified in suspecting that I am lying, but it wouldn't hurt for me to call them although I suspect they would bring up these points. Next time I will freeze them, but hopefully there is not a next time!
 
Nanci, he is afraid of the ocean since he cannot swim. I had to save him from drowning last time we went to Florida. He can just sit on the sand and tan I guess :)
 
If I sent babies to someone, and they died, I would DEFINITELY want to know. Being an honest breeder, something would have had to have gone horribly wrong.

I feel this way too, because we are more concerned about the welfare of the animals than the money.

Yes, I did email them immediately when the first snake died and told them I felt the need to inform them of what happened. I told them the death was sudden and the animal had eaten and shed normally. I had contacted them before the snake passed and asked for a replacement because they sent me a bugeyed animal missing a large chunk of tail. But when they showed me a picture of the replacement (also bugeyed) I decided I did not want to do further business.
 
Well- we got Katie to try a non-spicy Thai food last year, and she has been thinking about that restaurant all year, as have we all...
