Who watches "Deadliest Catch"?

Is anyone else totally skeeved out by the way Captain Elliot Neese talks to his girlfriend who is on the boat with him this season? "Mmmm, Daddy's been missing you" "you go first so I can see your ass while you climb the stairs" "Daddy thinks you are soooo sexy".

I throw up a little in my mouth when he does that.

And a kidney infection? Jim and I looked at each other and said "STD" at the same time! (Sorry, that wasn't a nice assumption, but I wasn't the only one thinking it!)

Anyone else a bit put off by how he treats women? You can tell from a previous episode or two how he talked to his wife/girlfriend who he as kids with.

When I heard the symptoms I thought kidney infection. I worked in surgery and some of it in urology....the symptoms were classic. He needs to get his mind back on his work and stop bringing his personal business on board. He's a mess....

Only paused there a few times when nothing else on. Never saw it at all with women present on the boat.
But even so,...alone...the guys can be...um...uncouth.
But most of us guys are a little uncouth anyway, eh? Lol.
(I am not rationalizing or minimizing treating women crudely. Which is how your description sounds, Smigon.)

This is the woman's own boyfriend though. We aren't talking the crew...we are talking the captain of the fishing boat with his new girlfriend. Telling someone they are your daddy is just a bit...er....nasty!

I can't stand it when men talk this way to any woman...it makes me want to vomit, but that's just my opinion...The ONLY man I will EVER call Daddy is my own flesh and blood father >.<

I haven't seen it in at least a year but Elliot was pretty gross before and I really didn't like him. I can only imagine how bad it has gotten with his newest toy on board.
