LOL.......sure do buddy and thanks !!

Just curious Orlando, is there a possibility that the Mandarin is a Redcoat??? He seems to be deeply colored vs. a typical "orangey" Mandarin.

I don't mean to hijack (not that I could with such great holdbacks) but there is something going on with some of the fires het mandarin, this is a 2013 fire het mandarin I kept back from last year on a project with Orlando. The colors rival some of the cayenne hatchlings I have.
Time will tell

Walter,
I kept the other two siblings and both are completely different as far as color. One of them looks similar to the one you posted. Although yours looks much nicer! As far as the red coat….well..as far as I know there is no RedCoat on the equation. However, It will be nice to find out. Your looks a lot like the Sire (he is more reddish…..). Here is a picture of the Sire at 18 months…..

I appreciate the info John.
I acquired my Mandarin from Orlando, which is why I asked the question.
I don't have a whole lot of "on hands" experience with the Kastanie gene and this is actually my first Mandarin, but I do notice a difference in coloration between this one and most I've seen pics of.

Thanks, Walter

Ahhh, gottcha.
That sure explains the coloration of his son..........a chip of the ole' block ;)

I appreciate the pic. of his father Orlando. Makes me more excited to see how my little guy turns out.
Seeing he is so much "redder" than most Mandarins I've seen pics. of, Redcoat was the first thing that came to mind......hence the question.

Thanks for the answer buddy !!

Dig the caramel stuff Walter, especially the amber blood and that sunkissed stripe. The "hurricane" Miami motley is wicked too.

I'm hoping to have some spare cash in the near future. I might have to send it your way for a female Miami Tessera if you have any left by then. Though it might go have to go towards a topaz or striped blue corn if I can find any.

Thanks Chris !!
Yes, I still have one female Miami Tessera left and a couple female Candycane Tesseras left as well.
Still got one male Topaz and a Amel Topaz (Lava Butter) too.
