Over summer i went away for 2 Months so i gave Smoke and Prismo to lady who takes cares of your snakes while you are gone. A week before I was gong to pick them up I emailed here that i was back and that i would be coming to get them.

She said that that would be fine and at the end of the email she added PS: i think your Miami phase ate Ur cinder.

EXCUSE ME WHAT? First of all it didn't occur to her to email me this when Smoke apparently ate Prismo? Second of all what does she mean THINKS? they where the same age and she would have blatantly seen it if he had eaten him. Third... whyyyyy where they even kept together?!

So i sent her a pretty angry email and then i went to her house and it turns out she basically lost him. Lots of yelling and obviously i didn't pay her later i ended up setting up traps in her house and then going home with just smoke.

Its been about 1 month now and i haven't heard anything from her. My family and my boyfriend think that she sold him, because he is from a wonderful breeder in Germany and you cant find anything like him in Switzerland because they just don't have that many corn snake breeders/keepers.
Argh i am still furious, but i don't know what else to do.

So Smoke shed yesterday so i thought i would update this thread. Hopefully one day i will get my Cinder back :( (BTW in the mean time i also got a Blue Eyed Lucy, and he is in no way a replacement for my Cinder. I am still hopeful that i will get him back)

I'm so sad that happened to you. Once you've been lied to who knows what the truth is? I suspect your snake was sold as well. Smoke is truly beautiful as is Ivory. I'm going through the heartbreak of a missing, escaped snake right now so big hugs from someone who knows what the loss feels like.

Thank you!! I've been following your thread as well!! I really hope Dolly shows up sometime soon! Poor you :( Ivory escaped the other day, but because hes such a klutz he makes so much noise and we found him in my sock drawer! I'm sure Dolly will turn up soon!! Don't give up :) some people find their snakes months later.

Thanks so much for the hugs :) and ill be thinking of you and Dolly so Dolly comes home extra fast!

I'm so sorry to hear about Prismo! Smoke definitely didn't eat him.. it probably would have been fatal for both of them. He probably escaped. :awcrap:

Yeah especially because they are the same age and same size :(
Balls are so addicting! i already got a second one :p

Is ur pied called Memnoch? I think i know who you are! :D hahaha small world :D silly herp people were all over all the forums! Love it!!! I am obsessed with pieds! I am dieing to get one too! but the spaccee :( p.s the corn in ur dp is ammaazing!

Yep!!! And thanks, the corn in my dp is a Hypo Pied from John Finsterwald. He has some super amazing Hypo Pieds available right now if you do decide to eventually go that route in corn snake form. All pied everything!

i wish :( but i live in switzerland so getting my hands on any special snake is reallly really hard and super expensive :(
