Nameless But Gorgeous - My One Tinley Purchase

NEVER.

I'm not a big fan of those who cover originals, anyhow. If you want to hear a PATHETIC cover of a TW song, listen to Manhattan Transfer's (oh, and btw, Jennifer...Janis Siegel is right up there on the list) cover of "Foreign Affair".

It's detritus. And I'm a jazzgeek.

So by no means do I listen to the "glam-disco" version of "Downtown Train".

I am ashamed to say that I don't recognize any of those names. :uhoh:

BTW...not touching the spray-hair topic. I'm being good. :noevil:

Meet my desert island woman. The one Chosen To Repopulate The Species. ;)

Beautiful. Gorgeous alto voice. Funny as hell.

You feeling OK? :grin01:

jazz

I don't want to bum you out Jazz... She just winked at me when I clicked the link...

Here's something random I just dug up, Coriander Pyle from this song- http://www.lyricsmania.com/lyrics/t...ons_lyrics_7294/eyeball_kid_lyrics_85241.html
Then you'll have to get 1.0 called Zenora Bariella.. and you can ship me the 16 pippies in the usual style.

Don't take it personally, but she winked at Jennifer as well. Which of course, makes her all the more hotter. :grin01:

In the shells of a thirty-ought-six?

EXCELLENT catch, Tom. I'm saving those names. But I think I'm locked in to "Ruby" for this lil' girl.

(who frequently says "Come down off the cross, we could use the wood" to those throwing a pity party)

I'll have to check out the link (Janis Siegel) when I get home.. No speakers at work.
Ruby is a great name though, and that little one sure will fit it!

Oooh, she's good! Pretty too. :)

I used to be a singer. Can't do jazz though...I'm a Coloratura Soprano / Light Lyric Soprano. Doesn't work for much else but classical.

I'm always tempted to "goose" those I know to be a coloratura, just to hear the reaction I'd get. ;)

We're cut from the same cloth, Jennifer. I'm a 2nd bass, and have sung with the Chicago Symphony Chorus, the Milwaukee Symphony Chorus, and the Buffalo Philharmonic Chorus.

Matter of fact, when I auditioned for the BPC, I was paid the highest compliment a 2nd bass could get. When they were testing my range, and I was able to hit the A that sits two octaves under middle C.

The conductor stopped the accompianist and said "Oooh! A Russian Bass!"

I knew right then that I was in. Five weeks later, I had a solo in a performance. :)

As I see it, a possible het pied for $75 is a level of acceptable risk that I'll take.

Uhhhhhhhh. YEAH!

She's gorgeous. My dream snake, actually, is a non-pied sided bloodred from an otherwise pied-sided clutch from Bayou. The colors on those snakes is to die for, IMO. You just picked up my dream snake for 75 bucks!!! Sheesh. You can call me jealous, now.

Thanks, Steph! My personal preference is that deep, dark, almost garnet-colored bloodred. My Holy Trinity of producers of these guys are Rob & Louise, Tom Thompson, and Don Soderberg.....and I've yet to purchase from the latter two.

And I'll just continue to call you Stephanie. I hear that means you're a girl. ;)

Heh...you jest...but when I see a bug, the street lamps explode and the neighbor dogs go crazy. :D

Hey! My voice could break glass and yours could start an earthquake. If we ever wanted to rob a bank, we could just stand outside and sing a duet.

Wow! I'm just now finding this thread, awesome diffusion on that snake jazz.

Definately have to start a progression thread for us droolers.

Jazz she is really pretty! :)

Now my daughter (5yrs old) 'snake handler' has 2 questions...lol :shrugs:

1. Is the cut on your hand a snake bite &
2. Is that hair on your fingers

Other than that she really likes her too!! LOL

*Drool*

If she goes *cough* missing... it was so NOT me. And no, you didn't hear anyone tiptoeing (spelling? Spellcheck says it's right) around your snake room during the night.

Trust me, if you're in the neighborhood, we can consolidate efforts two blocks away, and come out a lot better.

We'll be a serpentine "Mr. And Mrs. Smith". ;)

Deal?
