It's Jager time!
Heres my new wee beautiful tiny stunning amazing shiney silver captive bred Candoia paulsoni tasmai!!! Can you tell I'm excited?
I have wanted any candoia species for a long time now, but I refuse to buy parasite ridden WC animals that just don't last long in captivity. Theres just not enough people working with this genus of amazing pacific boas!
Theses are commonly known as the Halmahera Island Boa or more commonly known as the bevel nosed boa in the US and they come from, well Halmahera Isle in the Solomon Islands.
I got the breeder (Thanks so much Linda) to pick me out the lightest baby and I couldn't be happier. Unfortnaley because they are so small it's impossible to sex them at this age so I'll have to wait a while before I can pair him/her up. But for now... Heres Blythe - my miniscule silver boa! :dancer:
Sorry for the CRAP pictures... I couldn't be bothered getting ma macro lens out.
