If you had to choose between watching
The Simpsons - Futurama - Family Guy - Southpark

which one would it be?

thats easy, Family guy all the way.. Although I do reallllllllllly enjoy simpsons, wait can I change my answer to the simpsons LOL, Family guy and the simpsons are both really funny, I dont watch the other two :/

Okay... no, I'm kidding... I voted for Southpark. Family guy and the Simpsons are good for laughs, Futurama has a LOT of hidden physics jokes... but they can not compete with the blatant disrespect that is found in Southpark.

Futurama-Family Guy & Simpsons tie, and if I wanted to watch grade-school toilet humor I guess I would watch South Park, but that just isn't my bag.

I guess I like grade school toilet humor- I voted South Park. Simpsons was very close, and I've never seen the other two. I like King of the Hill, though.

Yeah, King on the hill's fun too
But couldn't make a list of 20 different shows, could I
:)

To clarify my prior post, Futurama is tops in my book, Simpsons and Family Guy tying for second.

I don't know what it is about South Park, but ever since I saw it for the first time, I've thought that the show is somehow beneath me. They've got talking poo for crying out loud. Overall I don't find it humorous at all, but I do believe that Matt Stone, and Trey Parker should have been raised better. The other shows listed occasionally have immature (IE toilet) humor, but overall, keep things on the up and up.

For the record, American Dad is also an awesome show. It is to Family Guy, what Futurama is to The Simpsons.

That's your opinion, and I don't agree with it. South Park is humorous if you GET IT. If you don't turn around and watch Soap Operas... sheesh.

Yeah, I pretty much clearly stated it as my opinion in my post, when I typed:

I DO BELIEVE
I was under the impression we were stating our opinions about prime time cartoons, not personally attacking people for doing so. My mistake.

That is very hard! I guess my favorites are Family Guy and Southpark. I have both on my ipod and that helps me get through long car rides!

Where was I attacking you? Did I hurt your feelings? Too bad.
And I re-read your posts and you never said "I do believe".. maybe it's just that you posted once and after people said they like SP, you posted AGAIN bashing the show and saying Matt Stone and Trey Parker should have been raised better... :smash:

I like them all 'in moderation'. I would agree with Dreqqus to an extent on South Park. I snip here and there can be funny. But a half hour, of things like a talking turd, a man humping a stuffed doll, references to child abuse, and songs like the ones in the video link above, is more than I would watch. I usually get enough South Park in 30 seconds when flipping channels to have a chuckle and move on. The others I have watched entire shows. Fun topic.

note: just my opinion!

I think what I like about South Park is how quick they are to mirror current affairs. And I cannot tell you how many long runs, marathons, whatever I've gotten through by singing "You can do it, it's all up to you m'kay." I love most of the songs from the movie.

The Simpsons have been on since I was in late elem school, so I've been watching them for a looooooooong time, though I've never been a "gotta watch it!" habitual viewer. I get a laugh out of it. :) But, I've lately *become* a habitual viewer of The Family Guy, mostly just to watch Stewie. :) In watching just about every night now at 6:30 pm -- and sometimes the 10 o'clock show, as well -- I think that I've now seen every episode as I'm beginning to recognize repeats. :p I also own 2 of the DVDs now, so I guess that is what pushed my vote over the edge for The Family Guy. :)

Although, I have to admit: I don't laugh at it that often. I'm amused, but not overly tickled. Hmm.

I get South Park, A couple of the funnier ones were when they were trying to return The Lord of the Rings video, and when they tried to send the goat back to Afghanistan. I guess funny, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.
This being said, I had to vote for The Simpsons. For a show that has been on as long as it has, it is still original and amusing. D'oh!
