I thought I'd make a thread to ask people what their I.Q. is, if they know of course. But in the interest of all this, please be as accurate and as honest as you can lol. I don't know if a thread like this has been made before, so please tell me if it has.

I took a test about 3 weeks ago and my I.Q. came back as 146, however, I don't know how accurate that was since it was an internet-based test. The best ones come from Mensa, I think.

Feel free to post anything I.Q. related.

All the best

David :crazy02:

Wow, 146 I.Q. and I didn't add the poll. Smooth...

Could a moderator help me out here please lol.

Mine must be like 17 or something LOL. Post a link to a decent IQ test... preferably the same one you took so it's sort of fair.

The last time I took an IQ test, I got a 122. But that was a few years ago. Maybe I'll go take one online and come back with the results.

Start another thread and I'll delete this one when I get a chance. However, I have reservations about this kind of thread. It's a very personal question, and beyond providing bragging opportunities for some, I don't see the value. It's kind of like asking people to list their Body Mass Index...

But I'm not saying that you can't post it.

Dean, you are the picture of restraint... There are SO many other directions you could have gone with that!

I don't mind saying my BMI, and my IQ although I don't know it...
I love Flash Focus, and Brain Age for my DS, currently my age fore FF is 36 and for BA it's 22. :)

I might win that one!!! I got IQ tested all the time as a kid, when my sister was in college getting her psychology degree. I finally badgered it out of her husband when I was 12 or so. I've re-tested various times in my life, and it more or less stays the same.

Lol, I guess people are different. My BMI is 28. Above the average I think, but not by too much. I wasn't trying to brag, I just thought It'd be a fun topic to talk about, I didn't realise it was that personal or taboo.

Don't worry about the poll, I guess we can just post instead.

It's no big deal, Dave. :) If you want to start a poll thread, I could also merge the two threads so the posts from this thread wouldn't be lost.

I liked my BMI a year ago, but the last year, shall we say, I got overcome with a severe case of DILLIGAF, and am actually rather dreading my yearly physical, which I have to go to in order to get the drugs I live by (for arthritis and allergies and thyroid, nothing serious, but I still want them!) because my doctor is going to have a stroke and then lecture me. I just don't think she's going to buy the excuse of "I can melt it all back off at any time simply by riding my bike and not eating whatever I dang well feel like, but I don't feel like it right now." I can't tell you my BMI because for the first time ever in my life I am AFRAID to get on a scale. Geez, it's not like I smoke. I wonder who gets yelled at more by their doctors, fat people or smokers?

But back to IQ tests- I've scored roughly the same with a formal sit-down psychologist-administered test, the MENSA test, and a plain old Internet test.

Here's a kind of cool site on IQ:

*tsk*... now I'm all obssessed! I just took 3 online IQ tests, and 2 of them said I was 107, and one said 126. So the average is 113. Not too bad.

Thanks Dean, I'll go and make one now, but I'll just copy and paste my first post, so don't worry about merging that particular post.

Great posts everyone, we're a pretty smart bunch. :) I've taken two internet-based tests, I scored 141 on the first and 146 on the second.

Here's a link to the site I scored 146 on:
