But NEVER be sorry for posting his pic, he's wonderful!!
How is his temperment?

Both are calm as kittens, he almost seemed to pose for the Pics'.

How does President and Miss Chen sound, or , Anthony and Cleopatra.

Ciao
 I'm so sorry, but that was the only link I found from googling 'Taiwan' and 'Beauty'! So my vote goes for President and Miss Chen, but I'll totally understand if you find a better set of names:rofl:

Is the taiwan beauty snake(Elaphe taeniura) in the same family as, the rat snake as we know (Elaphe guttata guttata) just out of curiosity?

The name Elaphe meant that they were both in the same genus (one step more specific than a family: Family --> Genus --> Species). As mentioned above corns are now in the genus Pantherophis. But both species are still in the family Colubridae.

Diamondlill hit the nail on the Head with the specifics of Genus etc.
They are awesome snakes and some do tend to be aggressive, especially when small. Both of mine however are calm as my Corn Snakes and love to be handled, they sure love to eat though and a medium sized rat avery 7 days is not a problem for them.

Ciao
