Short and Sweet
So - my family is huge. Grandma was one of sixteen, I have an aunt with 10 kids, another with 8 - you get the idea.

Well, the oldest of the 8 just had another baby. This makes her 7th.

So my uncle sends me an email informing me of this, and says

"Debbie just had her 6th - this makes it even, three boys and three girls."
Which of course means I had to inform him that his niece had SEVEN children now, not six. Four boys and three girls.
He just responded saying that since I was young I was better at keeping track of these things then he is! The sad thing is ... I don't even know all their names!

My family has too many people!

Wow! It looks like your family is making up for mine!
My dad had one brother. He had one daughter, and my dad had 2 daughters. (My sister and me)
My mom has 2 sisters. 1 had a daughter, the other one never had kids.
My husband has 2 brothers. 1 had 2 sons, the other never had kids.
I have 1 sister, she never had kids.
My husband and I have no kids.
 
Lucky you! The people I mentioned don't arn't even the tip of the iceburg - I'm the only only child in my family - and thats because my parents can't have kids, I'm adopted!
We have rented out parks before for family reunions. I don't know everyone in my immediate family - there are people I've never met. Its crazy.
One time when I was little I told me mom that there was some stranger eating my birthday cake, and she said, "No, thats uncle Frank"
 
Yeah, I'm pretty lucky I think.
Kids are great and all, but my life is perfect as it is.
I wouldn't change a thing.
