I have Dean and my local FedEx man for introducing us!! Pictures do not do this guy justice! He's got that lovely coppery/bronzy colour to him that I've covented. And Dean never mentioned (at least I don't think so) that this guy has an awesome cubed pattern going on... He's perfect!

My hand shots didn't turn out well... but this one shows the diffusion this guy has...

I know I didn't get his head in this one... but I think it shows the coppery/bronze feel he has and that cubed pattern...

And this was a last ditch attempt at a hand shot. He was very thirsty and drank from my hand when I lowered him over his water bowl! I had sat my camera too far away to grab it... dang it....

It's going to be soooo hard to leave him alone :) Thank you again, Dean for the opportunity to own such a gorgeous creature!

I'm so glad you like him. :D

Your photos show off his awesome coloration better than mine ever have. I really like his pattern too, but it's not a true cubed pattern (he's only het stripe). I tried shoving his face in a water bowl before I packed him, but he wasn't having any of that. So it's no surprise that he showed up thirsty. :)

Paula's in her laybox. There should be eggs in about a week. :)

He may only be het stripe, but those cubed boxes go the full length of his body... looked more cubed to my untrained eye then those that call themselves cubed :)

woooooohoooooooooooo Paula!! I'm going to be on pins and needles until she lays those things... and then waiting for the hatching to begin.... ooooooooh... patience is a virtue.

Now to go get Michael a new hide or two. He's bigger than I expected... or my hides are smaller than I thought.

P.S. He weighed in at 96oz. Do you weigh the youngesters on a regular basis?

The other thing I love about this guy is that he appears to have very little yellow to him for being an anery based morph, not like my motley :)

Michael is the picture of difuzzled wonderfulness Ginger :)
I love those cubes down his coppery silvery backside!

He's almost as beautiful as BRenda, a huge bloodred girl Dean sent me. She arrived this morning but I was late for work so I couldnt snap any pics of her mahoosive beauty :)

LOL So you are the other email address he was missing yesterday :) I'll look forward to seeing pictures of Brenda...hmmmmmm we need to talk to Dean about his naming convention. While Michael isn't bad for me... it's more Irish sounding than Scot, it's not bad.. but Brenda for a mahoosive beauty?????? :) Look forward to seeing pictures of her.

He's amazing! That color is superb - and I love the pattern! I think your shots are great - I really like the last one!

LOL Thank you... he surprised me with that last one. I've never had one twist around itself like that before :)

I never, ever expected to see the colouring this guy has on him! Dean's pictures showed a beautiful granite with tons of diffusion, but no hint of copper. So I felt like someone who hit the huge jackpot when I got that colouring that I've seen on other threads!

Guess you can tell that I'm one excited lady :D

We DEFINATELY need to talk to Dean about his naming :D
Actually, I think BRenda means "firey one or flame" in the baby naming book. So, in this case he might have hit the nail on the head. But.....Michael? LOL

He tends to name anything bloodred with a capitol BR in front...for BloodRed, I guess!

The other 2 adult girls I'm getting from him have rather plain names. I think I will keep their names the same, but add a little pizzazz by giving them the last name of Munson on their ACR registrations :)

I can't get the pics......agggggg...I want to see as well.....
96oz !!!! thats 6lb!!!!!!!! Whoa.....One big youngster.......

6 pounds! He's bigger than I thought! :grin01: ;) I don't weigh much of anything on a regular basis these days. I actually thought he weighed around 120g.

Michael was a replacement for a hatchling with the same genetics (granite het stripe) that died on me. The deceased hatchling's name was Mike, because he was a "couple" with my striped-bloodred het anery, Carol. They were named after Mike and Carol Brady. To differentiate your guy from the old Mike, I've always called him Michael. BRenda the BloodRed's name is more obvious. ;)

LOL I like that... I was going to go with something more like Michael MacGregor or MacKay... but Michael Munson has a certain ring to it :D

sheeeeeeeeeeeeeesh... I'm still getting oz and grams mixed up... sheeesh.. but it's 96 because the scale is digital :D :D :D He may have been a little dehydrated from the trip, I'll weigh him again when I feed him.

I like Michael better than Mike... but I do remember when you got Mike & Carol and those names made sense. LOL I thought the capital R was a typo :D
