Sunset lavender motley...

Tula_Montage

It's Jager time!
Over the last month or so Dior has developed darker lavender tips on the bottom third of her body. I quite like the effect and I can't wait to see how she continues to develop.

*sigh* I wish I had just one snake in my collection that compared to her. She looks amazing. The lavender coming in looks very nice. But IMO I really hope she keeps the pink. :)

So the lavender is kind of masked by the pink, and then comes out later?
Do you end up with a lavender?

Those are great pics. I like how they show the lavender creeping in on her pattern. She's a strange and cool lav-mot. If you lived in the U.S., I'd demand that you loan her to me so she could join Vlad's '09 harem. ;)

She probably wont keep the salmony pinks unfortunatley :(

I'm not 100% sure as the "sunset" gene is totally unproven. Joe Pierce hasn't even tested if it's the dilute gene at play yet. Shes a mystery but I adore her.

Thanks Dean, thats what I was trying to capture. I think shes hit the "dull down" point which is fine because shes still going to be gorgeous with that perfect pattern. Can you not send over some of Vlads sperm or something??

LMAO oh ok well forget that then :p

You know what, I may just have to attemtp to buy some Vald offspring especially since there are so many corny imports coming from the states these days. It would be easy enough if you could get them to someone in on the shipment ie Carol, Kathy Love, Joe etc.

Well, my female lav-blood is big 'n gravid from her three sessions with him. If you give me a U.S. address to ship to, you could own some REAL (i.e., lav-blood) Vladlings yourself... ;)

She is simply STUNNING! And while looking at her, I immediately thought that was what a dilute lavender would most likely look like. It is not going to surprise me one bit to have that idea verified. It may also be the reason there is such a variation between the greyish lavenders and the highly colored ones.

Thanks Susan. I weighed her today and shes 120 grams. I don't want to rush her but I think she will be ready for 09 ;) She will be paired with an anery stripe to prove if shes homo anery. If shes not I'll be over the moon with mots and striped mots het sunset anery lavender stripe :)

Does "sunset" mean there's some dilute in there? The colors are fantastic.

Either way, GORGEOUS!
