'07 Cinder: Zeke (Freshly Shed)

I don't care what the cinder nay-sayers out there think-- this snake ROCKS! Carol produced him. He weighed 35g on 2/18, and he's 60g today. The growth spurt they get when they switch to fuzzys is always gratifying. :)

Is Zeke the same snakey as your avatar?
It's amazing looking at the growth of these animals, not even paying attention to their colors but their body shape....
However his colors are damn sexy as well ;)

Looking great, as usual! I'll bet he'll be more than ready to take on a few females next year. Only thing you'll have to do is decide which ones!

No offense, Dean, I'm one of the "cinder nay - sayers"; they just don't do it for me, at all. But I do have to admit; he's pretty darn good looking. Almost like a "true anery" ought to be. I'm really curious to see how they cross with the other morphs. The amel cinder is killer; I'll be curious to see an ultramel, lavender, caramel, etc...

What are your plans for this guy?

Thanks Elle, Nanci, Lynn, Ginger, Becky, Deb, and RavenSpirit!

Thanks Jenn. :) Yeah, he's the snake in my avatar. The avatar pic isn't that old, but he's lost his "baby" look since then.

He's a handsome dude. The grey wall doesn't even detract from him.
Thanks Stephanie. Yeah, he's one of the few for which the gray wall is actually complementary. ;)

Thanks Susan. :) He'll be ready! He'll be paired with my female cinder, of course. I'd like to pair him with just about every other female too, but I guess that's not realistic. He'll probably be paired with a lav-blood and a hypo-blood, and maybe one other...

No offense taken, Matt. You're entitled to your opinion, even if it's crazy. :grin01: I'm curious about the combos too, but to be honest, I like straight-up cinders so much that I'm not as curious as I might be with, say, sunkisseds. I love the amel-cinder too, but not nearly as much as the straight-ups. I'm not going to be too happy about anything that alters those beautiful metallic-gold eyes!

My plans are to make more cinders, and who knows what else (see my reply to Susan). I have a female cinder of breeding size, but she hasn't bred successfully yet (she wasn't brumated). I also have two Keys het cinders that did successfully breed this season. The female is probably a week or two from laying (she's very gravid now). I also picked up 1.1 het cinder, bloodred '07s and 1.1 het cinder, hypo, lavender '07s from Carol last week. So I should have a good jump on the cinder stuff within a few years. :)

I was hoping those would be high on your list of pairings, especially the hypo blood. A lava would also be high on my list of choices, if you can convince Jeff to leave his Lava-Girl with you for another year. ;)

You never know...I might be talked into that one. :spinner:
