Hi there...."Blacklight", here.I have the winning ticket for the Amber Pair 90662!!!! Can't believe it, I never win anything.. I just joined last month and thought I would try my luck. I live in Richmond B.C. Canada and have just started my Corn Collection..I will be in touch with a U.S. postal address that they may be sent to as I live very close to the border. Again Thank you so much Brent, I can't believe my luck, and all the VERY best to Kimber who may re-claim these two at a later date once she's feeling better.........thanks again..Paul
Paul is indeed the owner of the winning ticket for the Ambers. Congratulations. Thank you very much for the donation and helping out Kimber and Family! She'll be excited to get back on and get updated with the thread soon!

We'll arrange for shipping this coming week.

One final thank you to everyone that donated. Special thanks to Jeff for stepping up and offering not one, but two, Hatchling racks. I seriously just coordinated this whole thing for someone that needed a bit of help. It's those of you that donated that made this happen. I'm honored to be amongst so many wonderful people!

Congratulations again to all 3 winners!!
Brent

Thank you, this was a great idea. :) I donated mostly just to help out a fellow member but am happy to be a winner :) Congrats to the other winners!!

Omg..I just got home this morning from a Hosp stay and chemo. Normally this is my dreaded day of feeling horrible but after spending the last hour catching up on the thread! I have cried and laughed so hard. I felt loved and honored beyond words. Everyones kind thoughts and prayers mean so much to my family. I have actually been trying to figure out how I can print all this to keep in a memory book. You all have made one very wonderful memory for our family that has filled us with hope in a trying time.

I feel like THANK YOU is hardly enough to say to everyone. But I do thank you all and wish I could give you each a hug!! Yes I'm a sap!! I was speechless when I say the amount that was raised and humbled beyond words. You all just have no idea what great timing this is and how much it will help our family. My next surgery just got booked for April 28th. So it will help so much with expenses. Your generosity just leaves me speechless. CS is amazing:laugh01:

Now on to give praises to some very dear guys who hate when I point them out but I just can't help it!! Brent you are the most caring, wonderful sweet friend our family could ask for..from day one when we first met many years ago you have been their for us in so many ways. I almost killed the first snake he sold us. But he patiently answered all our questions and walked us thru becoming good herp parents!! Thank you to your whole family for everythig and give that sweet wife of yours a hug for me for letting you take so much time on this. Your friendship is so greatly treasured.

Now to Jeff another softy out there..you rock my friend for your kind spirit and generous heart. I cant sing your praise enough!! Also thank you to Rich for donating the forum way back in the beginning. You really are a sweety too for doing that..it is more then just one kind deed!!!!

Now thank you to all of my virtual friends ..who thru your notes and generosity you have given my family something so positive in the last few weeks. Congrats to all the winners and I know the Ambers will have a great home and you will love them to death!!

Thank you all one more time for just being so thoughtful & Giving to our family!!!!

Hugs to all
Kimber,Troy and family

Just wanted to update everyone. The Ambers were shipped away via FedEx (one of my first "official" certified shipments) on Monday and arrived warm, healthy, fat and sassy on Tuesday according to Rebecca (who accepted the shipment at her stateside address for Paul/Blacklight). Kimber came down here to GF earlier than planned (wasn't supposed to come down until Monday) so I was able to pass on the donations to her and her husband just tonight. Again, I want to thank everyone that participated in this event. It was something special to watch unfold, I was just a coordinator in the whole thing.

Thanks again,

Thank you once again for the beautiful Ambers.yes they arrived in terrific condition none the worse for their trip and such nice examples of the morph. So happy to have won and so very happy to have been able to contribute to such a great cause. Thanks also to Kimber , who I have assured they will be well looked after......Paul

Just a bit of an update :)

Well I just had the male amber from this contest dropped off last night to see if he'd like to "service" my amber girl! Paul has SPOILED this sucker! Do you know he weighs 666 grams?!?!? He's huge! I think in light of his weight and his er.... girth he'll have the nickname of "Beast" around here! lol! Hopefully he'll be interested in breeding and not just grabbing for my husbands can of beer! ;) He wasn't brumated so who knows:shrugs:

I'll post pics asap!

Rebecca

PS - looking at the title of this thread there has to be a mistake?!? These aren't SERIOUSLY 08's are they??!?! 07's MAYBE but 666 grams at one year old?!? I think when Paul got them they were about 300 grams or so... Do you remember Brent?

There ya go! I gotta say thanks so much to Paul <blacklight> and particularly Brent <Drizz> for putting on this raffle!

Yeah, I don't know how I messed up the title like that! They couldn't be '08's since the donations were held in March! They were hatched July of '06. :)

It was no problem at all. I'm glad they found a great home and are being put to good use.
