F Amel Mot (?)

DaGiant

DaBig Guy retired to MS
As I've mentioned before I'm "The Snake Guy" at work now,
I have been given various kinds of creatures to care for and
find homes for.
I was discussing Corn Snake breeding with a friend at lunch on Monday,
and had mentioned I needed to find a couple of adult females.
Well a lady co-worker left me a note that her son had an adult female
and she has been caring for it since her son is at college. He has been
talking of "getting rid of it". Per my co-worker they decided to see if I
wanted to use her for my breeding plans and board her until her son made
a decision on her. I wrote out a "contract" that we both signed to protect
my "investment".
So here she is... I'm assuming she's a light colored Amel Motley by her looks.

Gene thats a nice girl! I think I would have to put her with your butter. She looks like she's got some caramel in her. Just my opinion. :shrugs:

Would her pattern qualify her as a hurricane mot?

Very Nice Gene! Best of luck with the breedings.

Thanks Tom, my first year trying to do breeding.. We're hoping or the best

Thanks Becky,
I was thinking the Butter would go good with her too.. Hmmmm
I like her light coloring and she does seem "Hurricane" like

Very nice Gene, I like the frosted look to her :)

Thanks Susie, me too

Very nice, very much almost hurricane-ish. I really like her!

Thanks Rachel, I love her pattern & coloring too

Very pretty frosted amel motley :)

Thank You!

Ya she looks like she could have lots of posibilities as far as breeding goes to see what she really is.

So now the question is if the guy decides to sell her will you buy?

That's a really nice snake to chance upon. I think it looks hurricane too. The colours are pale and peachy, not unlike my amel. I was told my amel came from orange candycane breeding so his background is paler than a lot of amels and his saddles are more of a dark peach/coral colour rather than orange, I suppose due to lack of yellow as a result of the selective breeding for whiteness. I have had people guessing that he may be a 'candy cream' or something because of the paleness of his colours but I'm not convinced. I think it's just selective breeding. Here's a pic for you to compare:

She looks almost identical to my friend's amel hurricane motley, I would go for hurricane mot...especially since she has that funny frosted look, all the amel hurricanes I have seen in person have looked like that. :)

She's a keeper! lol
