Carol the Striped-Bloodred: Outdoors (G'bye Gray Wall)

The weather's finally decent enough here for some outdoor shots. Unfortunately, each year I forget how to take outdoor shots by the time good weather comes around again. These will have to do.

Carol's an '06 produced by Rich Hume. She's het anery. She had kind of a rocky start. But she's back on track in a big way, and she's just over 200g. She'll be ready for my Hume striped-granite next year. :)

Shes AMAZING. I think striped bloods and striped granites are the only two corns I would really want for my collection (apart from stripedlavenderbloodredglitterbumfluffs). Can I have her please?

I think it's somehow very funny you named a corn snake Carol :)

She's a beautiful stripe bloodred!!

Wow you almost can't see her striping, she's got a nice even solid red color.
Pretty gal.
Thanks Jenn. :) What's odd about her is that she had very little striping as a hatchling, and what little she had was broken. A normal stripe will not get any more complete striping as it matures. What it's got as a hatchling is what it's got. I believe that in her case, you're seeing the normal accumulation of melanin that a non-hypo (and even some hypos) gets as it matures. This accumulation just happens to be in the same area where genetic striping occurs. :)

Thanks Elle. :) Sure you can have her. When I send Vlad, I'll throw her in the box too! ;) (BTW, I have to wait until I'm on a better connection to see the Blythe pics. I'll comment tomorrow morning.)

Thanks Mary. :) What's funnier is that I have many snakes produced by Carol H., but this one wasn't.

Wonderful girl, Dean.

I love the effect of stripe on diffused. The stripes almost act to smooth-out and stretch the snakes lengthwise.

Well, I don't know about forgetting how to take outdoor photos, they look like some pretty good shots to me, but I suppose it helps when you've got such a beautiful girl to practice on ;) She's gorgeous Dean :)

She's just gotten better and better. I remember when you got Carol and Mike :) Looking forward to seeing pictures of the Striped Granite that you replaced Michael with though :)

Wow Dean... she's a stunner. What are your breeding plans for her? I mean... unless it's a secret project. :)

Thanks Jenni, Sue, Sheila, Beth, and Stephanie.

Thanks Ginger. I've already posted a few pic threads of that striped-granite. Search on "Abner". Should be an easy search-- who names a cornsnake "Abner"? :grin01:

Thank you, Vinny. :) My plans for her next year are no secret. She'll be paired with the striped-granite I mentioned above. She's het anery. I haven't planned further than that...

SHE'S F*CKING AMAZING!!!!

Have you any older pics of her? Would love to see what she looked like when she was younger..!.. :D

Thanks Elle. :) Sure you can have her. When I send Vlad, I'll throw her in the box too! ;) (BTW, I have to wait until I'm on a better connection to see the Blythe pics. I'll comment tomorrow morning.)

Oh fanks Dean you're a star. I'll go and sit on the doorstep now awaiting my new snakes :)
