Fire's first laying, SAD

This is my Fire female but she has more bad eggs than good, but she is trying.

Poor baby...those look good though! This just isn't a very good year for a lot of people. At least you got some good eggs.

It turned out alittle better than first thought, she laid 6 good and 9 bad. I hope she doesn't double clutch she is so skinny now.

Not so bad...my fire laid 18 slugs and 2 good ones. And one of those good ones is looking iffy now.
That clutch WOULD have produced bloods, fires, granites and avalanches, HALF of those would have been striped.......

I wish my girl did as well as YOUR girl!

I'm sorry to hear that, you can't go wrong with an assortment like that, who were the parents?

My proven fire het stripe and anery female, and her granite stripe het amel son. They were brumated but he may have been a little young. He's an 06. I will be trying him with a hypo blood female next year, and putting the fire back with her original mate, a blood het stripe, amel and anery.

In 2010, I may try it again...
