Update on the skinny bull.

secretly normal
Way back in March, I posted pictures of my friends skinny bull
http://www.cornsnakes.com/forums/showthread.php?t=64882

So, in case you don't want to read the old thread, he is shedding perfectly now (he shed 3 or 4 layers of eyecaps after we up'ed the humidity), he is never going back to the vet who told him to feed every day. If Echo ever does need another vet visit, I'm telling him to insist on getting a fecal done. It's so stupid the old vet didn't ask for one.

Anyway, he is doing better, hissing more than ever (tee hee, I love him!)
He still isn't 100%, but he's looking better and hasn't regurged once. Victory!

Here is a picture of echo with his previous owner - he came to Dave skinny and since he knew and trusted Echos old owner he didn't question her husbandry. It was a bad situation of a snake in poor shape, and a guy who really never even considered owning a snake until one who needed a home fell in his lap.

I love 'Pits', they are real characters.... Good to see you got that one back on track...
ps....I don't think they ever stop hissing, it's the 'Pits' trademark, like a rattlesnakes 'rattle'......

Bulls are such amazing snakes. I took in a huge 6ft boy for a friend a while ago and he stole my heart. Amazing job with Echo, congrats!

I know! That's what I love about them. And now that he is healthier, he is much more vocal. It's funny hearing Dave tell me about our various friend's reactions to him. Some people just don't enjoy having a snake slither down their shirts and start hissing it's head off.
:dgrin:
