I've decided to try live feeding

The Devils Advocate
With all the new threads on live feeding and the benefits ( more natural, better muscle tone and exercise) I've decided to give it a try......
I'm going to start with my dogs....They are English Bull Terriers so they are quite powerful. Should I start with smaller dogs or maybe cats and would it be OK for me to just let them out to mop up any strays that are wandering about.

Blimey!

Joking aside (er... you were joking weren't you Mike?) my daughter's English Bull Terrier has been known to have the odd rabbit over our local common.

Yummy.

And this from the most trustworthy, gentle, affectionate bitch you could meet.

(The dog's fairly placid too). ;)

We don't get those over here naturally....We got hedgehogs though and squirrels.... Should I pull out the hedgehog spines first or would it be better to get my dogs climbing slippers and a chalk bag?

No I'm deadly serious... Think of the muscle tone my dogs will get from all that natural exercise.....

I confess!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I feed live silkworms to Isabel and live nightcrawlers to the boxies. But I only feed FK leaves and hibiscus blooms to the torts. If they hunt and kill their own grass, at least I can be reasonably sure they won't be injured by it.

Are you mad... have you ever had a grass cut, oooo they smart, you should at least stun it first....

But you lose the thrill of the chase with stunned grass. As for hedgehogs, if you stick your hand up their a***s and grab their snouts, you can turn them inside out, rendering them harmless. At least that's what I do.

(I can't believe I'm responding to this thread.)

We respond to the morons all the time.... So why not this moronic thread?...LOL
Good advice on hedgehogs though.... Do they run backwards when inside out?

Just make sure the is small enough to fit into your dog's mouth..I would say maybe chickens to start..their relatively easy to get...lol

Wow this thread is the best one of the week :0)

In all honesty (not to be serious I know this was a joke) I feed my dogs raw. Its not live, but its not corn and wheat kibble either. My olderLab has had allergies for 4 years, compulsve scratching of the belly, and after a month on raw the hair came back and his teeth look great. They eat duck, chicken, quail, turkey.....they could do rabbit but I havent tried it.

Thats because it was a live fed crouton.....You should stun them first

 Nice one!

I added a "snake feeding" video to my sig, by the way. It's a cartoon episode. At around 1:48 they first introduce the snake. At 4:12 it gets fed. I only find it funny because it's fake... no mice were harmed in the making of that video.

:p

I think you should feed them some Thugs, or Gangstas
