Marine Science Center visit

The Marine Science Center of Daytona is located next to the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse. This center runs rescues for sea turtles as well as sea birds, and a variety of other critters. Here's some pictures.

This little guy LOOKS like a baby black racer, but there was no ID tag on the tank, so I can't be sure...

This little guy was trying to cross the road. Thank god I know how to hit the brakes! I carried him off to the sidewalk with him trying to scratch and bite me the whole way. When I set him down, he started hissing! not a very grateful little f***.

So there ya go. For $5 entry, that place was totally worth it!

Looks like a cool place Robbie. I have been to the lighthouse there but never realized that this place was right there as well. Might have to go check it out Fri afternoon when we get out to Daytona.

It's definitely cool. and for $5, it's GREAT! haha.

This is actually gonna be my... well... let's see... I was in Naples for every hurricane from '88 - '06... but this'll be my first hurricane since a blizzard. lol.
