My ninja kittens

Don't they LOVE cardboard boxes!?
My mum's (full grown) cat wasted no time in jumping into the box her iron came in, it looked so funny because the box was too small for him so he laid on his back and stuck his legs out!

Our two kittens, who you might remember were near death with cat flu when we got them, are just amazing now. They're desperate to go outside but we can't let them, as they're old enough to get pregnant but not old enough to have spayed yet.

Have you let yours venture outside or are you keeping them in too? It's forecast snow in parts of the UK this weekend, I can't wait to see what they make of that!
 
Those 2 are waaaaaaaaaaaay too adorable! Hard to believe they grow so fast! Sometimes I wish Gabriel was a kitten again, but then I would be able to cuddle with my 30lb monster. Cute names as well Janine!
 
I haven't had the ninja girls spayed yet, and am still undecided about letting them outside at all. Ralph and Bob both had the habit of going out when I got them, but we are close to busy roads and I just don't feel I could cope with anything bad happening to the girls. They'll be spayed next month. Time for updates on your kittens, Tracee!

Oh goodness, what to update you on.... They've grown so much and Simba, the sweet little tabby who was once so very poorly, is now manic, greedy and destructive! Ripley, the more independent one, is now very affectionate, inquisitive and cat-like, with just the right amount of crazy :)

Simba is so funny, she's not at all like a cat - she walks off with things in her mouth, even if they're bigger than she is, just like a dog would! She's much smaller than Rippers, even though she's only 2 weeks younger :/

We daren't let them out, not because of a road, but in fear of tom cats! There's lots of cats on our street and if they got pregnant... it doesn't bear thinking about. I'm the same as you, I wouldn't put them in harm's way for anything!

I'll have to find you a newer photo of them - you do the same!
 
Cats are the greatest! Don't get me wrong - I love my snakes - but I would be lost without my furries!

She really is a darling, it's Simba the cute little tabby that's the monster!

I was going to point you in this direction when I saw your thread on Magic, Robbie.

Gabriel is byoootiful as well. Makes me miss my old tortoiseshell, Bonnie, she was such a princess :)

Thanks guys! He is such a little stinker. Somehow last night when he was playing in my room he managed to turn down the volume on my alarm clock so I slept in this morning and was late for work today!
 
I love the pics of all your kitties. I hope you don't mind me hijacking with the story of my own ninja kitty. My daughters came home a year ago with this little kittle they saw get thrown out of a car in a box, of course I couldn't say no.
We named her PITA and to this day she has lived up to the name...LOL
I'm afraid our other cat Cyrus feels she truly is a P.I.T.A.

The latest thing this little "princess" has done to endow our love for her is to chew through the corded phone. And this is within the last month. Not as a little kitten.

I can't get mad at her since the corded phone truly is a back up for the cordless.

Absolutely...though I'm not partial to the hairless ones...but I do agree: I'd be lost without my cats. I'm stunned to realize that I've had two of my boys for 8 years now (since they were 6 weeks!)! Time has flown, and they're still my babies. Wherever I go, they follow. Where I sleep, they sleep. And my main man, Strasti (my avatar), is my soulmate in feline form. I adore them. :)

awe..I wish my cat was still a kitten..
he's now a 20lb fatty man...nah, hes just a Spoiled cat..but not really overweight the vet said..
Congrats on the babies..

ps. I love it when they stick their arm under the door..up to their arm pit..and just tap around at nothing..its too cute..

Ours climb UP the doors now. They grab onto the edge and hitch up there as if climbing a tree. Very funny, but our nice wooden doors has seen better days :/

Thanks to our little horrors, our living room is freezing now the temperature has dropped! We took away the big warm rug so the kitties couldn't destroy it (we have wooden floors), they've ripped the draft excluder off the doors leading into the room and - if we weren't cold enough - have also torn all the sealant from the floor and around the fireplace up, because they like to fling it around, bite it and play with it.

All our hard work undone! :)


They're booked in for their pre-op check now and the receptionist said the vet would probably want them to have a season before they were spayed. I thought that was a myth?
 
Yep, it's very old-fashioned. Having a season first allows the kittens to mature and grow, but also cancel out the reduced risk of mammary tumours to an extent.
I've got a ninja kitten in the grip of madness right now, Bonnie is hunting a scrap of paper all over the front room, over the leather (very scratched) sofa, up the curtains and around the room again.
