my DIY vivs

v_various

secretly normal
I made them myself, with the help of my friends (who know what they're doing and own power tools).

There they are, 48 x 24 x 12. The top one is divided to give my normal corn (FinFang, as shown making a break for it) and my spotted python their own room. The bottom viv is for something a little bigger.

You can see I already snapped some of the melamine trim off when I moved it to my house, and I haven't been able to figure how to iron on the trim for the bottom viv without melting the glass tracking. Note to all DIY's, iron on the melamine trim FIRST. Gah.

I used interlocking rubber tiles to raise the vivs, rather than just rubber feet. They work great, I got them at home depot and I think they're mostly used to put between hot-tubs and your deck.

Anyway, the boys seem happy, and I've even seen Thanagar poking his head out of his hide to see what's going on now and then.

His dad was a miami, his mom a sunglow. That makes him a normal het amel.

Nope this looks like a Garbage snake to me. A rare troublesome breed that knocks over cans late at night and the raccoons are blamed for it.

by the way they are not happy about it.
