Jo-Jo the Bike-Riding Boa

I'm getting a different video... About President Barack Obama's decision to withdraw from Iraq.

Sorry, but if it's cold enough for him to need a jacket, his snake doesn't need to be out riding around. I'm also just waiting for the day that "Jo-Jo" decides to nail someone's dog or small child. Or someone grabs her while she's sitting on his bike. I'd definitely nab her! She's a beautiful snake!
On the plus side, though, she does look like she's very well fed. And I was very impressed that the reporter actually held her! Kudos to her.

If I saw that snake sitting on a bike I might just have to walk off with it...

Though I can understand why people would be worried. Snakes can hurt people, if I kid just randomly walked up to it and poked it in its eye it could bite the kid. Snakes are not dogs.

But if a kid walked up to a dog and poked it in the eye, the dog would probably bite him, too. ;)

I'm absolutely terrified of big dogs, but people are still allowed to have them around town. Where's my protective bubble from being chased by a giant mongrel? Why does everyone have to hate on the snakes?

CAUSE SNAKES ARE THE DEVIL!

Fear them!:uhoh:

At least I don't think he has to worry about his bike being stolen (except perhaps by a snake-loving thief)! Yeah, and I was thinking about that about the reporter, def kudos to her!

Oh yeah! I forgot about that. But the last time I checked, the devil had a HUGE pet DOG named Cerberus. So, shouldn't dogs be feared, too?

Cause people only read and remember what they want to.

Dogs can be trained and have shown that they are (if trained right) calm animals. When was the last time you saw a snake be trained to sit?

What are you so scared of large dogs? Is it all large dogs or just a breed?

Personally I didn't see anything wrong with the snake while it was on the guy's neck. Sure, him leaving it on the handlebars while gone wasn't the smartest thing... Someone against the animal could easily come out and kill it, or it could wander off. I don't think it was large enough in that stage to eat anyone's child though... That was just crazy.

:(

Almost all large dogs. ArpeggioAngels big dogs are sweethearts, but they still do scare me a little. I don't know why I fear them, but I've always been rather afraid of any dog bigger than a lab.

Well if you walked up and poked a dog in the eye it could bite you too. I'd trust someone with a snake I didn't know that well than with a dog I didn't know well, the dog i personally think is more likely to atleast take nip at you. Dogs kill more people in america than snakes, sharks, bears, and all the other big scarey animals put together. Infact the same can be said for pigs and bees believe it or not..

Leaving the snake on the bike is stupid.

But having it around your shoulder's when you bike ride... that's his call. Why do people always feel a need to exert their will on others? Humans are such scum... yech!

We be human! We be scum!

I know that my snakes dont go out an around town. Heck I had the cops called on me because I had my boy out climbing the tree in our front yard and someone freaked out. Gotta love it. People are scared of the things they dont know or understand. IE: Pits. Most are VERY nice dogs but some are trained to kill and its those who are trained that give the breed a bad name. People know snakes bite but they dont know much else so they think all snakes bite.

The class of humans who feel the need to force their will on others irritates me. Unfortunately that often seems to be the larger group compared to those of us with a live and let live attitude.

In any event I'm sick and crochety!! ;)
