I think my snake is sick...let me give you some background
I have had my corn since june of 2004. I have never before had a problem with refusing food or any regurge whatsoever. He has just hit the 48 inch mark and currently eats 2 frozen/thawed adult mice every 11 days. Two feedings ago he...
i have had my corn for about 18 months. he/she is now about 4 ft. long. i currently feed two adult mice every week and a half to two weeks. is this too much or too little? would i be able to feed one small rat this often or would a meal that large be slightly too much? thanks for the help!
well, in the last three sheds, my corn has had two bad sheds. the first one was an error on my behalf as i did not recognize that he was going to shed and i did not put in a moist hide. any way this last shed i had a moist hide that he had been using for about 5 days since i had noticed that...
i was wondering if some people could show me some pics of their full grown corn in relation to a person or other familiar object. could you post the age and length too? thanks!
my corn is about 23 inches and i recently started feeding him a larger size mouse. anyway after a feeding he always poo's that night and again a couple days later. well it is feeding day again and my snake has still not gone number two. is this anything to worry about? is it possible he is...
does anyone here add vitamins to their mice befrore feeding (assuming you use frozen/thawed)? would it make any difference and are there any good brands out there that i should be looking for?
can anyone tell me what mouth rot or any other typical infection would look like? my baby albino has weird black markings in the corner of his mouth that came off yesterday in the shed.
my 17 inch "albino" has black coloration at the corners of his mouth. i might not have noticed it before so this coloring might have always been there, but i was wondering if it might be a fungus or something like that. he seems fine and healthy, he eats well and he acts perfectly normal on my...
ok...i only have one snake. i hate to keep buying pinkies from petco that cost over a dollar each. i was going to order some online but the shipping costs double the costs of the mice themselves. so when its all said and done it will cost 36 dollars to have 50 pinks shipped....thats barely...
does anyone know of a good source that i would be able to order a lot of pinky mice from? it gets rather pricy at a dollar each to get them from a pet store. how many shoudl i get for my one baby snake before i would have to move up to fuzzies?
i just bought my first corn snake, he is an albino about 14 inches long. i got him about a week ago and fed him one frozen pinky (which i thawed of course) on saturday and he gulped it down imediately. my corn is very thin and the pinky was about 125% as thick as my snake. i have been reading...
