My corn has had these scratch marks on his body since I got him. I thought it would eventually fade after a few shades but it hasn't...So I guess it's really some sort of discoloration that won't go away at this point (?) What you guys think?

Okay this may sound a bit silly but here goes...How do I measure the length of my corns? Do I just forceablly stretch them out on a tape measure? They seem to hate that plus it's not nearly as accurate as I would've liked and I didn't want to hurt them.
