I did actually try pairing them a few weeks ago and got nothing. So I'll just trust her judgement and hope she doesn't reabsorb. This is her first year breeding and she wasn't brumated because I was going to wait. I guess what really threw me off was after her period of gorging food she bred before she had her ovulation shed.
One of my corns that has been kind of weird too bred back in January and still no eggs. Though looking through my records she laid April 18th last year so that might just be the time of year her body is naturally accustomed to.
We will see how things play out if she is or isn't gravid. I at least owe a pair to the guy that gave me the female for free since he couldn't find a male.
These two clutches have hatched or currently are in the process. The amel het motley sire appears to be het anery. The extreme Okeetee sire is het for amel. Surprise hets are always fun.
