Does he have belly checkers? He's definitely an amel, but his head pattern looks masque.

Definitely not. I will link to his head sometime tonight.

Definitely not. I will link to a picture of his head sometime tonight. If you zoom in, the tip of his tail looksslightly deformed, though. Is this normal for amels? He is, from my understanding, a week or two old.

The very tip or a couple inches closer to his vent? Because there, it looks like a little kink (but if you don't see what I'm talking about in real life then it is totally the angle of the picture). If it does end up being a kink, it is usually a birth defect and as long as your snake is eating and pooping fine - there is no reason he can't live a long and happy life. However, if you were ever thinking about it, he should not breed. Otherwise, if this is not what you are talking about and you are talking about the tippy tip of his tail, an even further zoomed in photo might be helpful.

Yes, that's it. Is Red a defect, or is it a minor kink? He seems to become very suddenly smaller there. No waste yet. I can see the digestion, and he's being very active. Hopefully he's okay, as I don't want the link to be harmful.

As far as breeding it, is it a genetic quality that is undesirable, or could it cause issues with breeding it? It looks like it might be on the... genital part of a snake. I don't intend to breed it, but if I did, I think it would be a distinct way of identification. I definitely would not breed Red for profit, so if that's it, it is a minor issue.
