Cornsnake mice feeding question!

So I weighed my corn the other day and he was 107 Grams. My question is he is currently eating medium mice which are about 13grams..my local store has large mice which weigh about 18grams give or take. According to the munson plan he should be on the 18gram ones. Which would seem big. Should i keep him on mediums or switch to large that are 18g each?

Sometimes if it's a big jump up in sizes, I'll cut the legs off the mouse and cut a few slits in the back to help ensure they can get it down without much struggle and to aid in digestion. Or just keep him on the smaller ones for a bit longer.
