I am having trouble posting a new avatar. It is uploaded to a photo-hosting site. The picture is 160 x 160 pixels and is smaller than the alloted file size allowed. I have never had trouble with this before. Is there a problem with the site? Just for the sake of curiosity...I uploaded the picture here and it worked fine.

I tried something else...it let me upload it from my computer, but would not let me post the link to it. Weird...

It's obvious, and I feel stupid for asking, but I've made the mistake myself numerous times . . . did you type the http:// at the beginning of the link?!

Note: The maximum size of your custom image is 160 by 160 pixels or 97.7 KB (whichever is smaller).

The file size is probably your problem then! I remember having that same problem.

I tried using your link, and got the following vBulletin message:

The uploaded file is not a valid GIF, JPG, or PNG file. Please ensure that it is and try again.

Same thing you got?

Yes. I even tried making it into a gif file and that didn't work either.

I just tried other avatars that I've used before and they aren't working either.
