So, this is one of the discarded adult snakes I took in from the show, I got him and Red for a bargain price, but his temperament is out of this world, and his naughtyness... (he is a water cup tipper and strong such). I often clean his habitat twice a day.. He is lucky he is cute.. He has a bad eye, it looks like he's blind on it, I thought it'd might make him more nervous but nah... When I open the lid he looks for food but he never strikes.. (I feed in tub but I always handle before I feed and handle them between feedings). He will slither out, he will let me touch his head, he tolerates being petted (meanwhile the younger corns get nervous when pressure is applied from the top), he just couldn't care less... I can't wait until my first reptile education show this spring, he will be the perfect pass around to all the nutty little kids snake... He will also be the story on why an appropriate set up is a must (it looks like the eye is damaged from a light bulb when I compare, don't know for sure though).
His pattern has no consistency, he is a motley but he couldn't decide if he was going to be stripe or motley part of the genetics, his color is inconsistent but rich, so technically he's not pretty but to me he's pretty darn perfect inside and out even with his "flaws"..
And he has gone from 193 to 212 in one month so nice start, he wasn't super thin though so I think he is more of a youngin like 2 years or so.
Wonky eye:
Motley? stripe? I couldn't decide so I went with both..
No this is not two snakes, it's one..
a wonky one..
