hello Weda737,
does your exo terra have sliding doors or swinging doors
all mine have swinging doors, but we had a tank similar to it with sliding doors that we had 2 baby corns escape from. they squeezed in between the glass I didn't realize they could shrink to that small.
Swinging doors, sorry, should have clarified. I love the thing other than when my boy pokes his head behind it (the door, in the space between the door and the wall of the viv) it can easily get crushed if I accidentally moved the door.
The first terrarium I got for my snake was an Exo Terra. He escaped from it once, due to an obvious mistake on my part. Since he was a baby he was able to slide through the little holes in the lid that one could feed a wire for a heater through or something. I didn't know you could slide them closed so he escaped one day. After I closed those sliders and got him back inside he never escaped again. He's got a Zilla right now but he's outgrowing it and I'm looking into an Exo Terra again.
I have an Exo-Terra medium-wide setup (24lx18wx12h) for my 2 month old. So far no issues, although I had my suspicions about the cord holes. No escapes yet, knock on wood..
I have a 36" x 18" x 18" Exo Terra tank and I too don't know if I want my Milk snake in it. The top may have a the locking screen but if you put your hand in the tank and give a little push on a corner, the locks pop right out. If my snake pushes upwards on the screen in the corner what is there to keep her from popping the locks out too?
