Corns eating eggs??
I have read that sometimes cornsnakes will eat eggs in the wild.
My question is this,a raw egg contains Avidin, now as far as i can remember, avidin is a toxic protein that hinders absorbtion of Biotin into the system.
Do cornsnakes physiology have a means of counteracting the Avidin,or is avidin NON toxic to a corn snake??
I know that for certain animals Avidin is lethal, and was wondering what makes its so differnt when a cornsnake eats a raw egg???
