White spots

After his shed my snake has these strange white spots along his body that almost look like a scale has fallen off but I have no idea what they are? I've included a picture of one area

The spots I can see in your photo look like missing scales. Unless there is an ongoing underlying cause, they should grow back.

This is the first time I've seen it. Should I just wait to see if they grow back?

I don't see any blisters or lesions in the picture, just missing scales, so that is good.

I would take a good look around the viv to see if there is anything causing it. Are there damp spots? How's the humidity and temperatures? Is there any mold or perhaps some unnoticed feces was accidentally missed? Is there something your snake is scraping on? I'd probably do a thorough viv cleaning just as a precaution.

If in doubt for any reason, consult with a vet who is experienced with snakes.

Looks like missing scales to me, too. That's not normal, with a shed. I don't know what would cause it.
