smooth green snake

My nephew in-law's wife caught and took these pics of a smooth (?) green snake she caught in the summer. She lives near Natural Bridge KY (in the same area where I took the pics of "Kentucky Copperhead" last year). I have always wanted to find one of these in the wild and now that I know they are near my in-law's place I'll be looking more closely. I believe this is a smooth (as opposed to a rough) green snake but it's hard to tell from the pics.

I remember a long while back telling a friend of mine that I found a DOR green snake on one of my excursions.

He asked, "Was it smooth or keeled?"

I said, "Oh, it was definitely dead."

I guess you had to have been there....
