'06 Butter het Bloodred (MyStErY Line)

Sherlock was produced last year by Rich Hume from his mystery line. The het bloodred isn't proven, but the markers are all there and it's definitely floating around that line. His lav sister won't be ready for him until '09, but his hypo-blood sister will be 300g by brumation time in a month or two. At 170g now, he'll be ready next year, but I don't really have anything planned for him unless I breed the hypo-blood sister in her second year. We'll see.

I've gotta say, despite the fact that there is a lot to love on the overall presentation of the snake with his colors.

His eyes are my favorite.

He looks good. I think I prefer a good-looking not-mot butter to the butter mots. Maybe. The jury is still out, but I'm leaning that way at the moment. :)

You mean.... butter?

But anyway Roy, just another mystery for you to solve.

Thanks. :) I like his irises better than his pupils. :grin01:

Thanks Stephanie. I prefer butter-stripes to butter-mots, and the mots to the straight-up butters. HOWEVER, maybe I'm crazy, but the slight hypo effect of stripe and mot do something to the yellow that makes it a little less "buttery", and I like this guy's buttery color. I guess you could say that I prefer straight-up butters' ground color. :)

Suddenly I'm feeling in the mood for corn on the cob. :)

He's a very good looking Butter!
Seems that he very well could be het Blood ... hope he proves out for you.:)

Lol, talk about great timing  I was just conversing on the subject of Lavender Butters/Caramel Opals, and Rich's project that produced the peachy hatchlings... Having a yellow snake in the collection is worth the chance of peach ones down the line... :D Has there been an update on those hatchlings yet?
