1.1 1.0 ???

This may be a stupid question which I already know the answer too, but just in case I don't, what is with all these 1.0 or 1.1 and such things in regards to snakes? Does this mean age, length, or something?
thanks!

It's a shorthand for listing numbers of snakes along with their sex ratios. The left number is the number of males, the right number is the number of females.

2.5 = 2 males, 5 females

If there are three numbers, it's males.females.unsexed...handy for listing hatchlings prior to sexing them.

4.6.3 = 4 males, 6 females, 3 of unknown sex.
