18 days after shedding NO EGGS?

my gravid female ( i can feel the eggs)shedded 18 days ago, i presumed it was 'the" pre-lay shed. but still no egss.
i wanted to post this a week ago, but knowing the night after posting she will lay, i waited.
now i'm posting this i can collect the eggs in the morning ,
has anyone have experience with snakes holding on to her eggs that long. i would say it's about 8-9 weeks since the first mating and she is living in her lay-box about 23 hours a day.
she is not eating and she's angry with any thing that moves.
i am sure she is full of eggs.

i hope to get reply from you all, and i 'll keep you posted.
