Hey all,

Have you heard about this story yet? Very sad, and confusing...
Two little boys were killed by an African Rock Python in New Brunswick earlier this month...
The python was kept illegally in a pet store below an apartment, where the owner of the pet store was allowing the two boys to sleep (a sleep over, with the owner's son). Apparently the python escaped its enclosure, climbed through the duct system, then fell through the living room cieling where the two boys slept.

Here's a link to an article (RCMP side). There are many, many more out there. More information is being gathered about what went wrong - enclosure, owner responsibility - why the snake attacked but didn't eat, etc.
