2014 Fire - Amalthea

This is one of my keepers, a little fire named Amalthea. Her dad's name is Callisto, which is one of the moons of Jupiter, so I thought it would be appropriate to name her after one of Jupiter's other moons. Most of the clutch is quite feisty, but this little girl is very calm and sweet. She is the reddest fire of the clutch, so I had to keep her.

I love everything about this little snake. So red, such a beautiful head pattern. Great holdback you have there!

Sorry I called her a him - I just realized I meant to comment on your Amel, Pebbles! But they're both beautiful and red. :)

Amalthea has done some growing and her bald head pattern is starting to fill in. The pictures show her a bit more orange than she really looks.

Very beautiful! I'm not usually a huge fan of amels and fires but all of your babies have been outstanding examples!

She IS beautiful, and I was lucky enough to get her brother who has the same head markings!

Some updated pictures of Amalthea. She was being SO good for these photos. She let me move her head around wherever I wanted without trying to get away.
