Well.......10 pairings was the most that I could handle this year as most of the collection is center towards Boa c. constrictor and Boa c. imperator.

1. Anery Kastanie that proved to be het hypo, amel x a Hypo Stripe het amel, anery. The only reason I know he is Anery Kastanie is because I used a female kastanie and all the babies were visual Kastanies (I will post pictures at a later time).

Sire - Anery Kastanie (he is the product from pairing a Classic 100% het kastanie, Anery)......

The outcome.......

Ghost (which was a surprise), Anery, Amels, and Classics....

More to come......................

2. Hurricane Anery Motley x Avalanche Kastanie

Pairing....

Picture of the Sire.....

Outcome..... All Aneries......The darkkkkkkkkker coloration is pretty neat

3. Miami Pinstripe Motley x Kastanie het stripe

The pairing......

Sire

Dam

The Outcome (classics, Miami'sh look, Motley pinstripe....Miamis......have to wait for them to shed).

More to come...........................

4. Snow Kastanie x Amel Kastanie (Mandarin) het anery

Pairing.....

Here is the Dam....

Outcome - Five hatched out of twelve eggs. The rest look to have inspissated material inside. Blood red was on the equation as one of the neonates is a Mandarin Blood.

****The only problem with this clutch is to differentiate between a Mandarin and a Snow Kastanie. Mandarins have a "Snow-Look" as neonates. I am hoping after their first shed I can tell them apart. I am hoping that at least one of them is a Snow Kastanies if not.....I am still happy with the outcome.:licklips:

**********More pairings coming soon...

Thanks for looking!

I have not seen a kastanie combo that I didn't like. Beautiful babies and the parents are lovely too.

5. Terra-Cotta (variant of Motley Bloodred) - unknown hets x Kastanie Motley 66% het amel, anery, blood.

Dam - Terra-Cotta (variant of Motley Bloodred) - named by John and Bridgett Bernardi of El Paso, TX. Terra Cotta they chose for this "old-school" line of Bloodreds.

Nice to see some of John and Bridgett's stuff around. I haven't spoken with them in years. Actually, now that I think of it that last time I spoke with either of them was in 2009 when I ran into Bridgett inspecting a fish load at a Pets Barn in NE El Paso.

Going back to pairing #5 (Terra-Cotta (variant of Motley Bloodred) - unknown hets x Kastanie Motley 66% het amel, anery, blood.

A few of the neonates……..

6. Kastanie Blood het Amel (hoping she also proves to be het anery) x Avalanche 66% het Kastanie (last year he didn't proved to be Avalanche Kastanie with the outcome - 2 mandarin blood, 7 kastanie blood, and 3 bizarre looking fires).

This was a collaboration project between John Finsterwald (Colorado Corns) and Legacy Reptiles.
